The Site

Unlike a typical blog, this site documents not just content but its own evolution. The architectural changes—new sections, reorganized navigation, visual language shifts—are as meaningful as the writing itself. A reader navigating to an earlier date sees the site exactly as it was: old templates, old structure, old content.

This is implemented through milestone snapshots. At significant moments, the entire site is preserved and made navigable through the history feature.

The System

This site is a downstream artifact of Akita, a personal knowledge management system. Akita ingests content from various sources—RSS feeds, Readwise highlights, book notes, journal entries—and provides semantic search, classification, and research workflows.

The books and articles here often originate as Akita corpus entries. The essays emerge from research tracks pursued within the system. The site is a public projection of private inquiry.
